My guy plays Dungeons and Dragons and other role playing games. When we were dating and the early days of our marriage, I did play a few times. But after a while I just had to tell him it wasn't my thing. He still does it, but now with a group of friends that doesn't include me. I appreciate what he's doing, but I just don't want to do it myself.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01842364873511941858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512100889250640332.post-82975819189451342562009-04-29T22:35:00.000-04:002009-04-29T22:35:00.000-04:00thanks Sheila. Most of all I would just like her to understand why I'm so obsessed/crazy about it by experiencing it for herself. I'll continue asking her to join me :)Ronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15567136282074381954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512100889250640332.post-65777432430964843682009-04-29T03:14:00.000-04:002009-04-29T03:14:00.000-04:00You can't motivate someone else. I would tell my husband I was going for a walk and ask him if he wanted to come with me. These were brisk walks. He usually wanted to come. It was our time to walk together and talk. I'm glad he came, but I didn't try to make him come. Just asked him if he wanted to. If he'd said no, I'd have gone without him. That was 3 years ago. We both run now. But I never tried to get him to do any of it. He did it himself.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01842364873511941858noreply@blogger.com
